The Birthing of the Book
I am writing a book about Money Effects. This website is helping me out, as I am continually bombarded with information that I feel can be shared WHILE I write the book, and it supports the topics that have already come through me which will become the chapters within it.
I share this post to begin a dialog on how the creative process is influenced and impacted by money. The questions and thoughts I had come up for me as I began this project were numerous, and a lot of them, money-based. Such as:
- How can I write a book when I work full time?
- I need to work full time to support myself, and I’m too tired after work to put any energy into my own creations.
- I would love to quit my job so I can focus all my time on my own creations, but I can’t afford it right now.
- How can I generate an income, not work so many hours, so I can devote more time to my own projects?
- Will my projects make an income that will support me, or am I just fooling myself?
These are just a few of the thoughts running through my mind at any given time. There will be many more posts about the progress of the book, and the birthing of other creative projects, in general.
